Rusty Roller

An old roller onthe harbour at Porthgian in Pembrokeshire. Being a popular harbour with local fishermen it’s littered with odd bits and pieces such as this.

Ken, this is a great image, but I’m
technically puzzled here.
You didn’t use a flash, but the lighting is
so good.
How did you achieve such intensity on the
foreground compared to the background?
If it’s editing, then it’s seamless and
brilliant.
The richness and brightness of that rust is
so in your face.
Love it.

Thanks all. @ Simon, yes it’s in the PP. It
was a dreadfull dull day in fact and I
expected to process the days images mosty as
B/W, but with a bit of work this one came up
reasonably well.

Ah goody - you just can’t beat a bit of rust!
Love the perspective on this - well spotted
and well taken.
